Look at pattern’s in your life today and how it has roots in your early childhood experiences
Establish and reinforce coping strategies to help you cope with day to day stresses.
Set small, achievable goals to help you get back to feeling like yourself.

The treatment for depression is often similar to how we would treat anxiety. We would explore patterns using the same kinds of questions, pulling from the same types of coping skills, and doing this all with as little judgement for yourself as possible

I can’t promise that depression will just disappear once our work begins. But I can assure you that you will be met with openness and lack of judgement as we work on helping you feel more and more in control of your depression and more capable of feeling joy.

Not necessarily. We can experience depression as a symptom of surviving a trauma, or going through a difficult life change and/or loss. Through our work we will explore how you feel depression and make treatment goals according to your personal experience and needs.
